Senior Food Pantry

The Amargosa Valley Community Library has joined forces with Helping Hands of Las Vegas to provide food assistance to seniors in need. We offer two programs: the first is a pantry service that includes a bag of shelf-stable items, a loaf of bread, a selection of fruits and vegetables, protein, and a couple of rolls of toilet paper and paper towels. Our second program provides frozen meals, offering seniors 20 pre-made frozen meals that consist of a main dish and a side of mixed vegetables. Please note that these meals are not separated for specific food allergies. This program is available to anyone over 60 years old residing in Amargosa Valley or Beatty.
