This December, Library Chef Junior is serving up hands-on holiday fun with two live, online cooking classes your kids will love. Each session is interactive, educational, and designed to build confidence in the kitchen.
For Pre-Teens & Teens (Ages 10+)
Make Delicious Jam Thumbprints
Thumb, jam, bake, yum! Teens will create their own bite-sized Jam Thumbprint Cookies—easy, fun, and totally tasty. Step-by-step guidance will cover measuring, mixing, and baking, while also practicing kitchen safety. By the end of class, they’ll have a tray of sweet, jammy treats ready to enjoy.

Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies + Storytime: If You Give a Mouse a Cookie
Bake classic chocolate chip cookies while learning measuring, oven safety, and checking for doneness. While the cookies bake, Chef Danielle will read If You Give a Mouse a Cookie for a fun storytime twist, making the experience extra special.
